Homebuyer Workshops

Springfield Neighborhood Housing Services offers FREE homebuyer education classes to help buyers learn what they need to know BEFORE purchasing a home.  Homebuyers will learn about credit, how to pre-qualify themselves for a mortgage, how to shop for a home, types of mortgages available, predatory lending programs to avoid, home maintenance, foreclosure prevention, and much more!

The homebuyer workshop training is eight (8) hours.  Springfield NHS workshops are approved/certified by HUD, MassHousing, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac.    

You may check our schedule of classes below and return to the registration tab to register for a class.  Your workshop registration will be processed AFTER you complete and submit the Customer Intake Application which you may download by clicking that tab to the left.  You must register first for all Homebuyer Workshops.

WORKSHOP SCHEDULE:

All workshops are held at 111 Wilbraham Road, Springfield, MA(unless otherwise stated).  Must complete 8 hour course to be certified.  Free Lunch Provided.  Workshops co-sponsored with MassHousing.
